Lucia Operto brings size, international seasoning, and a team-first edge to Murray State
Operto is a 6-foot-3 center who has been a steady veteran presence for Murray State, appearing in 12 games in the 2022-23 season after seeing action in 12 games in 2021-22 and 14 in 2020-21, including one start in 2020-21.[1] Her biggest differentiators are length, experience, and a proven international résumé — she has represented Argentina at the 2018 U17 and 2019 U19 World Cups and previously averaged 17.3 points and 5.0 rebounds for Club Atlético Lanús.[1][3] If your team needs a physical post player with maturity, competitiveness, and a strong feel for winning basketball, Operto is a smart fit.[1][3]
