James McKinney brings veteran RB balance, but current 2026 impact is unclear
James McKinney is listed as a Richmond running back, but the available team and stat pages do not show meaningful current 2026 production, so the cleanest read is that he is more of a roster-depth or development piece than a headline engine right now[1][5][15]. His profile suggests a sturdy 6'0", 198-pound back with college experience, which can translate into reliable, physical downhill running and pass-game utility when healthy[5]. For a team shopping for immediate star power, there is too little recent production to call him a proven difference-maker; for a team valuing size, experience, and upside, he could still be an interesting fit[1][13].
