sturdy, long-time NC State edge who wins with effort and reliability
Savion Jackson finished his NC State career as a dependable, high-motor defensive end who brought five seasons of experience, 106 tackles, 13 tackles for loss, and 3.5 sacks in 48 games for the Wolfpack[1][2]. In 2023, he also dealt with a knee injury that ended his season early, so durability was part of the evaluation, but his value came from toughness, assignment discipline, and a relentless blue-collar style rather than flashy production[2][3]. He’s the kind of fit you want if your team needs a mature, physical edge setter who understands the grind and keeps coming.
