Indiana freshman Shanice Billington brings a scrappy, true-point-guard edge to the Hoosiers
Shanice Billington is a 5-foot-5 freshman guard from Hartford, Connecticut, whose profile screams hustle, leadership, and old-school point guard instincts rather than flashy box-score volume. Indiana’s roster bio lists her as a freshman G, and a recruiting-era note described her as a passionate, student-of-the-game type who thrived after a state-title run at Bulkeley High, where she was a scoring leader and earned major in-state honors. If you want a guard who understands pace, competes hard, and adds energy and basketball IQ, she’s a fit; if you need instant size or high-usage scoring, the fit is less obvious.
