Michigan fifth-year safety Jon Shaw brings veteran depth and run support
Jon Shaw is a **fifth-year safety** at Michigan with the size, maturity, and back-end experience that make him valuable as a steady defensive piece rather than just a stat line. He has the frame to handle contact at **6-0, 193** and arrives with strong college production and proven starting experience from his previous stop, where he opened all 12 games and finished with 79 tackles, including 50 solo stops. That profile suggests a reliable, physical fit for a defense that values accountability, range, and tackling discipline.[1][3]
