Maurice Turner brings burst, experience, and upside to Tulane’s backfield
In the 2025 season, Maurice Turner entered Tulane as a redshirt senior with preseason All-AAC buzz and a proven change-of-pace profile, after missing most of the 2024 season with injury and then transferring from Louisville in spring 2025[1][10]. He’s a compact 5-foot-10, 190-pound back who has shown efficient flashes, including 127 rushing yards on 28 carries in 2025, but his bigger value is the blend of veteran poise, acceleration, and versatility that made him a player to watch in Tulane’s offense[2][13].
