In the 2024 season, Cooper Dawson played in 10 games for Charleston Southern, started multiple contests, and was used primarily as a run blocker while still catching 3 passes for 12 yards[2]. He stands out more for physicality, flexibility, and role versatility than flashy production: he spent earlier seasons on the defensive line, then shifted to tight end and even worked both sides of the ball in 2023, which speaks to toughness and football IQ[2][3].
