Hector Gonzalez brings active freshman-edge upside to Eastern Michigan
In the 2025 season, Hector Gonzalez has flashed as a disruptive **freshman defensive lineman** for Eastern Michigan, recording **11 tackles, 1.5 tackles for loss, 1 pass breakup, and 3 quarterback hurries** through seven games. His 6'4", 245-pound frame gives him room to grow into more power, while the early pressure production suggests quick hands and effort-driven disruption rather than just size. He looks like a developmental fit for a program that values upside, motor, and projectable pass-rush traits.
