Kevin Johnson brings Bearcat-tough defense and veteran steadiness
Kevin Johnson’s Cincinnati profile is built on toughness, leadership, and defense more than flash: at UC he was repeatedly described as a “talented defender” and “strong leader,” and he helped power four straight NCAA Tournament teams while tying for third in program wins with 101. His statistical footprint was modest in his final Bearcats season (7.9 points, 2.1 rebounds, 1.3 assists in 2016-17), but the value was in reliability, intensity, and doing the dirty work the right way. If your team needs a guard who raises the floor, Johnson is the kind of glue player coaches trust.
