a former K-State walk-on turned Wildcats staffer, not a current player
Taylor Godinet is not currently listed as a Kansas State player in the 2026 football roster; the available team pages show him as a former Wildcats defensive end who became a coach/quality-control staffer after playing in 14 career games and contributing on special teams and defense. His best differentiator was sheer versatility and buy-in: he was a walk-on who earned a role, brought edge and reliability, and later stayed in the K-State orbit as a recruiting/defensive assistant. If the question is roster value today, he’s a culture-and-development piece rather than an on-field addition.
