Izu Emelife brings a double-double engine and rim protection to Lamar
Emelife arrives at Lamar as a high-motor center who produced a dominant 2024-25 senior season at Clear Springs, averaging 14.0 points, 12.9 rebounds, 3.8 blocks and 2.8 assists in 35 games.[1][2] At 6'7" and 220 pounds, his value is built on interior rebounding, shot-blocking and enough passing to keep the offense moving from the post.[4][2] He looks like a strong fit for a team that wants physicality, second-chance production and defensive disruption; the main question is how his size translates against bigger college frontcourts.[2][4]
