Yagmur Canguven is a Turkish guard with upside and a scorer’s résumé
Canguven’s current UTEP role is still small, but the profile is intriguing: in the 2024-25 season she appeared in two games, logged five minutes, and produced two points plus a steal for the Miners, while UTEP notes she came in with a strong Turkish background, averaging 11.2 points on 55.2% shooting for Fenerbahce and representing Turkey at the youth national-team level. She looks like a fit for programs valuing efficient scoring, international pedigree, and developmental upside rather than immediate high-volume production.[5]
