a rugged interior anchor with proven scoring punch for Portland
Lauren Angel is a physical, efficient frontcourt presence whose value shows up in the paint, on the glass, and in big moments—Portland’s own old-school post with a knack for steady production and a history of double-figure scoring and double-doubles in her Pilots career. Her profile points to a reliable low-block option rather than a volume shooter, with touch at the stripe and the kind of toughness coaches love in a F/C. If you need interior size, rebounding, and a dependable half-court finisher, she’s a fit; if you want a stretch big, that’s not her game.
