polished SEC punter with a specialist’s edge
Grant McKinniss brings the kind of specialist profile teams covet: a former Missouri/SEC punter who has also built a reputation as a kicking-development coach, which suggests strong technical understanding and repeatable mechanics. His value is less about flashy box-score impact and more about field-position reliability, consistency, and the confidence that comes with a player who has lived the specialist craft. If you need a punter with experience, poise, and a developmental mindset, McKinniss looks like a fit.
