Long, versatile UNLV DB with special-teams upside
J.T. Nettleton is a 6-foot-2, 190-pound defensive back at UNLV who arrived as a walk-on prospect and was described by the Rebels as a “good-sized” defender with a solid spring and a chance to help in the secondary and on special teams. His value is the classic DB package teams chase: length, versatility, and a high-effort path into the rotation rather than headline-grabbing stat volume. That makes him a useful fit for a program that wants developmental depth, special-teams toughness, and a player who can earn snaps through reliability and range.
