Macy Borowski gives Brown a true workhorse ace with strikeout stuff and big-game shutout potential
Borowski has emerged as Brown’s frontline pitcher, earning NFCA First Team All-Northeast Region honors after ranking second in the Ivy League in strikeouts and innings pitched in 2026 while also posting a 3.48 ERA. Her calling card is durability and swing-and-miss ability: she has logged heavy volume, delivered a one-hit complete-game shutout against UMass Lowell, and showed she can carry a staff through multiple innings and multiple games. For a team, she fits as a dependable left-of-the-rotation type only if you want an arm with toughness, workload, and the ability to miss bats when it matters most.
