Kade Bush brings size, versatility, and upside to WVU’s tight end room
Kade Bush enters West Virginia as a 6-foot-4, 226-pound freshman tight end with three-star pedigree and a reputation for lineup flexibility, having been used as a traditional TE, slot/outside receiver, and even a ball carrier in high school. He was ranked in the 2026 class among the better tight ends nationally, with West Virginia beating out Arkansas, Kansas State, and others for his signature. The hook here is not gaudy stats — it’s a multi-sport athlete with receiver-like movement and enough frame to develop into a problem if the playbook lets him cook.
