a steady NIU slot target with proven volume and chain-moving value
Jarret Carter is a dependable Northern Illinois receiver who produced **29 catches for 306 yards and 1 touchdown in the 2025 season**, showing enough volume to matter even in a modest passing attack.[1] At 5-plus appearances and **243 career snaps across 24 games**, he brings familiarity, rep count, and rotational reliability rather than flashy splash plays.[3] His fit is best for teams that want a **polished, assignment-sound WR** who can handle the dirty work in the route tree, stay available, and give the offense a trustworthy possession option.[1][3]
