Jon Killen was SMU’s floor general with a scorer’s punch
In the 2007-08 season, Jon Killen was a senior guard who gave SMU steady backcourt leadership, led the Mustangs in assists, and added efficient long-range scoring, including a 28-point outburst with seven 3-pointers against UCF. He was an All-Conference USA and Academic All-Conference USA honoree, plus a co-captain, which signals a high-IQ, accountable player with real locker-room value. If you want a guard who can organize an offense, hit shots, and set the tone competitively, Killen fit the bill.
