Dontae Owens brings gadget-WR versatility and early spark to Georgetown
Dontae Owens is a compact, shifty **wide receiver** who gives Georgetown a flexible playmaker rather than a volume-stat machine; the Hoyas used him on offense in 2022, where he logged **3 rushes for 22 yards** against Monmouth, hinting at a gadget role and open-field burst.[6] The main appeal is his versatility and movement skills, which can stress defenses in creative packages, though publicly available stats are sparse and do not show sustained production yet.[1][6] He looks like a fit for a team that values quickness, motion, and occasional misdirection more than a big-body outside target.[1][4]
