Athletic, disruptive Eastern Washington DB with proven backfield production
Anthany Smith is a defensive back who should stand out for his ability to make plays in space, close quickly, and bring physicality to the run game. I could not verify reliable current-season game-by-game stats or recent rankings for Eastern Washington in the provided sources, so the cleanest signal is his listed role and profile rather than a stat-driven breakout. If he is healthy and playing with the same urgency implied by his position value, he looks like a fit for a defense that wants an aggressive, assignment-sound DB who can tackle and challenge throws.
