Veteran Southern Utah edge presence with listed length and a blue-collar frame
Akoteu arrived at Southern Utah as a 6-3, 200-pound defensive lineman from Alta High School and was a First Team All-Region 7 performer there, giving him a solid pedigree as a local recruit. His profile suggests a lean, developmental front-seven piece with size and upside rather than a stat-sheet stuffer, and public roster pages don’t show current season production. For a team, the appeal is in his frame, regional familiarity, and likely workmanlike approach—more of a moldable DL prospect than a finished product.
