6'10 Bowling Green right-hander Carrson Sova brings strikeout upside and starter’s length
Sova is a hard-to-miss 6-foot-10 right-hander who gave Bowling Green real innings in 2025, logging 53.2 frames over 17 appearances with 41 strikeouts, then continued showing swing-and-miss stuff in 2026 with a seven-strikeout relief outing against Miami. His appeal is obvious: size, leverage, and the ability to work deep enough to change a game when the command is cooperating. The fit question is about consistency, because his damage-mitigation ceiling is higher than the box-score averages suggest, but his best version looks like a matchup-wrecking arm with starter traits and legitimate strikeout juice.
