veteran linebacker with early-career toughness and a sticky-tackle résumé
Britton Maxwell is a Houston linebacker whose profile is built more on toughness and persistence than headline-grabbing stat volume. In his Houston career, he made 10 appearances with one start at middle linebacker and posted a career-best 13 tackles against Air Force, while earlier knee injuries disrupted his development. That history matters: he’s the kind of player who earns trust through physicality, special-teams value, and grit, not flash. If your team wants a hard-nosed, proven depth piece with linebacker instincts and a comeback story, Maxwell fits the bill.
