Jamari Wheeler brings veteran defense, steady playmaking, and sneaky efficient scoring
In the 2021-22 season at Ohio State, Jamari Wheeler averaged 7.1 points, 3.2 rebounds, 2.9 assists, and 1.3 steals in 31 games, while shooting 45.8% from the field, 38.8% from three, and 86.1% at the line. His real value is the tough, tone-setting guard play: he consistently pressures the ball, creates extra possessions, and keeps mistakes low. He’s the kind of experienced two-way guard coaches trust when they want poise, defense, and a little edge without the drama.
