Veteran Stanford DT with Early-College Production and Real Front-Line Juice
In his Stanford years, Levirt Griffin was a sturdy interior presence who already had 24 career games, six starts, 24 tackles, 2.5 tackles for loss, 1.0 sack, a forced fumble and a fumble recovery by the end of the 2007 season[2][4]. He brought good size for the defensive front at 6-foot-4 and around 269-270 pounds, and recruiting evaluations praised his quick first step and active hands off the line[8][13]. The fit question is simple: if a team wants a rotational DT who can play with energy, disrupt pockets and keep developing, Griffin checked a lot of boxes.
