Kyle Morrison brings pop, polish, and steady middle-infield value to Southern Miss
In the 2026 season, Southern Miss infielder Kyle Morrison was a real run-production engine, posting a .308 average with 17 home runs, 48 RBI, 14 doubles, and a .603 slugging percentage while starting all 61 games at second base; he also earned Sun Belt first-team honors and was a Dick Howser Trophy semifinalist. He stands out for mature, all-fields power and the kind of confident, complete-hitter profile coaches love, with reports noting he “takes what the pitcher gives him” and can hurt teams in multiple ways. If you need a bat-first INF who brings toughness and lineup impact, Morrison is absolutely worth the look.
