Mississippi State QB Legend Turned Successful Head Coach
Kevin Fant, the 6-2 pro-style gunslinger from Moss Point, MS, starred for the Mississippi State Bulldogs in the early 2000s, throwing for 5,631 yards and 33 TDs while leading epic wins like the 2003 Egg Bowl (36-28 over Ole Miss). High school hero with 1,740 yards and 15 TDs in 1997's Class 5A title run, he's differentiated by toughness—famously sucker-punched but kept battling—and leadership, now thriving as head coach at Vancleave High. A proven winner with grit and poise; ideal for teams craving a battle-tested competitor.
