Sabrina Thompson brings veteran guard grit to Stony Brook
Sabrina Thompson is a seasoned Stony Brook guard whose value shows up in steady floor leadership, defensive toughness, and a low-drama, team-first style that coaches usually love. In Stony Brook’s 2024-25 game at Hofstra, she logged 24 minutes and scored 6 points, a snapshot of a reliable rotation piece who can handle pressure without forcing the issue. For a team looking for composure, guard defense, and a player who fits a system, Thompson looks like a dependable fit rather than a headline-chaser.
