Derrick McLendon Brings Proven Pass-Rush Juice to Colorado’s Front Seven
McLendon arrives at Colorado as a veteran outside linebacker with real production, including 50 tackles, 12.5 tackles for loss, and 8.5 sacks over 38 career games at Florida State. His profile points to a high-motor, hybrid edge defender who can fight through contact, cover ground with long strides, and finish plays as a pass-rusher and tackler. For Colorado, he looks like a fit if you want disruptive edge pressure with experience and toughness rather than a pure coverage linebacker.
