Former Marist linebacker turned coach with proven production and a position-switch edge
Kagafas is not a current playing LB; he is a former Marist linebacker who became a Red Foxes linebackers coach after a five-year playing career and three seasons of pro football in Sweden and Poland. At Marist, he moved from safety to linebacker, became a starter in the PFL, and finished with 146 career tackles, including 56 in 2013, which shows range, adaptability, and a feel for the position. That background suggests a coach who brings toughness, versatility, and real in-game experience to development work.
