an experienced, well-rounded Nebraska guard who can score, rebound, and create
Hester was a steady, multi-category contributor for Nebraska, finishing her two-year Huskers career with 394 points, 264 rebounds, and 107 assists while playing in 64 games[1]. She showed real guard versatility by scoring in double figures multiple times in 2007-08 and contributing as a playmaker, not just a scorer[2][5]. Her value is the kind that doesn’t always pop in one stat line: dependable production, willingness to do the dirty work on the glass, and enough all-around skill to fit a balanced team needing toughness and versatility from the backcourt[1][6].
