Camila Zepeda brings elite NJCAA production and speed to Arizona’s infield depth
Zepeda arrived at Arizona after a dominant 2024 season at Pima, where she was ACCAC Player of the Year, an NJCAA Division I second-team All-American, and a statsheet monster with 16 home runs, 61 RBI, 80 hits, 66 runs, and 14 steals while batting .488.[3][5] Her first Arizona season in 2025 was more of a support role—12 appearances, mostly as a pinch runner, with six runs scored—so her value right now is as an explosive, high-energy depth piece with proven bat-to-ball ability, power-speed upside, and a track record of impact production.[9]
