Zion Simmons brings defensive-minded guard depth and veteran backcourt upside at ULM
Zion Simmons is a steady, lower-usage guard option for ULM who has shown he can contribute in short bursts; in the 2019-20 season, he logged minutes in his debut and was perfect at the line (2-for-2 vs. Millsaps). Available public college stats are limited, so his value is better framed by role fit: he appears to be a team-first guard who can add depth, guard pressure, and composure rather than chase highlight numbers. If you want a reliable backcourt piece more than a high-volume scorer, Simmons is worth a look.
