Elite 4-Star DL with Unmatched Intensity and 95 Rating
Louis Nix III is a 4-star defensive lineman (247Sports rating 95, ranked #7 DT nationally) who brings rare 350-lb mass at 6'3" with the intensity of a future nose guard. Unlike typical prospects, he developed into one of the nation’s top DLs while learning to love football, leading Notre Dame’s defensive line with 50 tackles and 7.5 TFLs as a freshman. His differentiator is his relentless, physical style and team-high 5 pass breakups, showing versatility beyond pure size. Though he tragically passed away in 2021 at age 29, his legacy as a SuperPrep All-American and 59th-ranked Sporting News Top 100 player remains. For any team, he’s a perfect fit for a heavy, physical defense needing a dominant, high-intensity nose guard who can stop runs and disrupt passes.
