veteran Illinois State DB with proven ball skills
Ade Kilpatrick is a long, experienced defensive back for Illinois State who entered college as a two-star recruit and showed real playmaking chops in high school, where he posted 50 tackles and 5 interceptions in his senior season and 11 pass breakups as a junior. He’s the kind of DB who brings length, discipline, and some sneaky coverage instincts; the upside is a steady, assignment-sound defender who can contest throws and fit into a physical secondary. Publicly available recent production data is limited, so the best read is that he’s a developmental depth piece with a solid pedigree and a knack for disrupting passing lanes.
