Christian Salecich brings veteran point-guard poise and passing touch
Christian Salecich is a steady, pass-first guard whose best selling point is control: in his 2013-14 SIUE season, he played all 31 games, made 11 starts, and ranked second on the team with 70 assists while averaging 6.8 points, 2.1 rebounds, and 2.25 assists per game. He also flashed shot-making range, hitting 34 threes and posting a career-high 16 points that season. The fit? A coach looking for a smart, experienced guard who can organize an offense and make the extra pass should care; the flashiest athlete he is not, but the glue-guy instincts are real.
