Preston Weeks gives SFA a seasoned, big-framed QB with real game reps
Preston Weeks is a redshirt senior QB at Stephen F. Austin in the 2026 season, and his value starts with experience: he has played in 18 career games and has 724 passing yards with five touchdowns on 53 completions. He brings a sturdy 6-3, 222-pound frame and enough production history to look like a trustworthy, steady option rather than a boom-or-bust project. The fit is strongest for a team that wants a veteran quarterback who can manage the offense, stay composed, and provide continuity—less flash, more dependable chain-moving.
