Big Sky pick-up with a polished inside game and proven production
Caleb Van De Griend looks like an immediate impact frontcourt piece for Idaho State: in the 2025-26 season he has produced 11.8 points and 6.4 rebounds per game on 55.2% shooting, with preseason recognition as a Big Sky Newcomer of the Year candidate. He brings pro-ready size, efficient scoring around the rim, and a rebounding résumé that already includes record-setting numbers at Minot State, so the appeal is clear—this is a tough, productive forward who can anchor possessions without needing the ball sprayed to him.
