steady, efficient Chattanooga spark with veteran shot-making
Chelsey Shumpert is a compact, high-IQ guard whose calling card is efficiency: in the 2016 season, she led Chattanooga in assists, shot 82.4% from the free-throw line, and ranked among the Southern Conference’s better perimeter threats and facilitators. She missed two games with injury that year, so durability is worth monitoring, but when she’s right, she brings poise, ball security, and timely scoring. If you want a guard who can organize an offense, stretch the floor, and compete with a veteran edge, she’s the kind of glue player coaches trust.
