South Carolina State’s QB with room to pop
Adrian Rodriquez is the kind of quarterback you watch for upside: South Carolina State lists him on its 2026 roster, but public stat and scouting detail is sparse, so the best read is that he’s still carving out his role rather than already being a finished product. What stands out is the opportunity fit—at an HBCU program with a real stage, a quarterback can separate quickly if he brings poise, processing speed, and a strong command of the offense. If you want a polished, clearly documented resume, he’s not that yet; if you want a developmental QB with room to surprise, keep the binoculars on.
