Jayden Arenas-Michel brings disruptive edge and proven production to MTSU’s defensive front
A 6-4, 271-pound defensive lineman, Jayden Arenas-Michel arrives at Middle Tennessee as a high-upside trench player with real production: as a senior at Baylor (TN), he posted 39 tackles, 10.5 tackles for loss, eight sacks, 15 hurries, four pass breakups and a fumble recovery, after a junior year with 15.5 TFLs and 15 sacks. He was ranked among Tennessee’s top players and earned two-time all-state recognition, signaling both disruption and consistency. He looks like a strong fit for a program seeking a physical, motor-driven defender who can collapse pockets and win on effort plus technique.
