Savanna Messner keeps punishing pitchers as Columbia’s clutch utility bat
Savanna Messner has been a difference-maker for Columbia in the 2026 season, hitting .274 with 10 home runs and 24 RBI while ranking among the Lions’ most dangerous power threats. She has already climbed into the top tier of Columbia’s all-time home run list, and Columbia’s coverage has repeatedly highlighted her timely, game-shifting swings in big wins. The fit is easy to see: she brings right-handed pop, speed, and utility value, plus the competitive edge of a player who tends to show up in pressure spots.
