Reliable Idaho State DB with a gritty, high-effort reputation
In the 2010 season, Idaho State’s Dustin Tew was the kind of defensive back coaches trust: durable, disciplined, and productive enough to earn the 2010 Babe Caccia Scholar-Athlete Award. While the available reports don’t provide a full stat line, the context says a lot—he balanced football with demanding emergency-room night shifts, which speaks to toughness, time management, and mental resilience. If you’re looking for a DB who brings professionalism, accountability, and a blue-collar edge rather than flashy headlines, Tew fits the profile.
