Bairstow’s two-way wing game made Utah State’s offense sturdier and more versatile
In the 2013-14 season, Stephanie Bairstow was a real glue piece for Utah State, playing in all 31 games and starting 18 while averaging 7.45 points and 4.58 rebounds per game, with a sharp 38.9% from three. Her best trait was versatility: at 6-foot-2, she could handle guard/forward duties, score in bunches, and rebound like a wing with bite. She also flashed improvement late in the year, including a career-high 19 points in the Mountain West tournament, which makes her the kind of tough, adaptable player coaches tend to trust.
