Experienced Syracuse DB with a developmental edge
Onwualu is a Syracuse defensive back whose value is more about *upside and versatility* than box-score splash: ESPN lists him on the Orange’s 2026 player page, while Syracuse’s roster history shows he joined the program in 2017 and saw limited game action early in his career, suggesting a long-development path and a player who has had to earn every rep. That kind of background can matter to coaches looking for a disciplined, coachable DB who understands the grind and may still be climbing.
