Jaqson Tejada brings big-frame upside to NIU’s mound mix
In the 2026 season, Jaqson Tejada is a 6-foot-5, right-handed pitcher for Northern Illinois with a high-upside frame and raw arm talent that makes him an intriguing developmental fit. His 2026 line is very small, so the numbers don’t tell much yet, but the profile says “projectable arm” and “bet on the build.” He’s the kind of pitcher a staff likes if it wants size, feel-to-grow potential, and a long runway rather than immediate polish.
