Charlie Brooks brings sturdy interior size and experience to NCCU’s defensive front
Charlie Brooks is a veteran North Carolina Central defensive lineman listed at 6-foot-3, 279 pounds on the 2026 roster, and his profile suggests a classic interior body built to eat blocks and hold the point of attack.[1] Earlier NCCU roster and media-guide listings show he has been in the program for multiple seasons and previously played at 6-foot-2, 270 pounds, giving him added continuity and familiarity in the Eagles’ system.[1][2] The catch: publicly available stat pages show no detailed current production, so his value reads more like dependable trench depth, physicality, and scheme know-how than flashy box-score numbers.[3] If your team wants a tough, experienced DL who can occupy space and keep the front honest, Brooks looks like a sensible fit.[1][3]
