Ball-hawking safety with proven production and veteran savvy
Darius Lewis brings real defensive credibility to Northern Arizona: in the 2012 season, he was named MVP after posting 84 tackles, 2 interceptions and a pick-six, and later earned all-gazette defensive back honors. His profile suggests a physical, high-motor safety who can tackle, read angles quickly, and make momentum-changing plays in the secondary. The big draw is his competitive edge and multi-sport athletic background, which often translates to strong instincts and toughness. If you need a safety who can stabilize the back end and flash playmaking upside, he fits the mold.
