Old-school middle linebacker profile with toughness and instincts
Monte Graves is a **physical, instinctive linebacker** profile whose value comes from trust, effort, and run-defense feel more than flash; Maryland’s own bio described him as a “tough, physical player with good instincts,” and as a fifth-year senior he was positioned as a depth option at middle linebacker behind EJ Henderson.[3] That makes him the kind of player coaches usually like for assignment discipline and locker-room steadiness, though the available public data here does not show recent on-field production or updated rankings.
